Who we are

mili (Mili Pets) is a pet wellness brand based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This policy explains what information we collect through milipets.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. If you have a question about it, send us a message at @mymilipets on Instagram.

What we collect

• Your email address, when you join the waitlist, along with the date you gave us permission to contact you.
• Your survey answers, such as your pup's needs and which product you'd try first, if you choose to answer them.
• A random browser ID, stored in your browser, so answers you give before and after joining are kept together. It doesn't identify you by name.
• Your IP address, briefly, to stop spam and abuse of the signup form.
• How you use the site, through the advertising and analytics tools described below.

How we use it

• To let you know when we launch and send you your 15% first-order offer.
• To understand what dog owners need, so we can shape our products.
• To measure and improve our ads on Facebook and Instagram.
• To keep the site secure and working properly.

Advertising and analytics cookies

We use the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta Platforms (the company behind Facebook and Instagram), on our website. It uses cookies and similar technologies to record actions you take on our site, such as visiting a page or joining our waitlist. Meta uses this to show you mili ads on Facebook and Instagram, to measure how well our ads work, and to reach people who may be interested in mili.

If you sign up, the pixel may send Meta a hashed (scrambled) copy of your email address so Meta can match the signup to the ad you saw. Meta processes this data under its own Privacy Policy.

You can control how Meta uses this data for ads in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies won't stop you using our site.

We also use Vercel Analytics to count visits and measure page speed. It doesn't use cookies or track you across other websites.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your information. We share it only with the services that help us run mili:

• Supabase, which stores our waitlist and survey data.
• Vercel, which hosts this website.
• Meta, for advertising, as described above.

Some of these providers may store data outside the UAE. We may also share information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your email and survey answers while you're on our list. If you ask us to remove you or delete your data, we do, unless we need to keep a record to meet a legal obligation.

Your choices and rights

• Leave our list at any time by messaging @mymilipets on Instagram.
• See, correct or delete your data by messaging @mymilipets on Instagram. We'll reply within 30 days.
• Withdraw your consent to marketing at any time. It won't affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

Children

Our site is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We'll update this page if what we collect or how we use it changes, for example when our shop opens. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
